|
|
Well, what can I say?!
A wonderful rumour has been circulating on the grapevine recently. This being that a very well known member is about to take ownership of a brand spanking new Harley-Davidson Street Glide. Love a duck I hear you say!
However, further information has come to light in that the member has actually taken delivery of the H-D today (Friday 23 July). This is all like a chapter from a John Le Carre spy novel. Of course one now wonders on what Club event will owner and another of Milwaukee's finest make its first appearance.
My personal congratulations to the Member. May he enjoy many happy miles on his new steed!

Completely and utterly outrageous. As Ettiore Bugatti said: "The fastest trucks in the world". Except they ain't fast, they're just trucks.
If this club had a constitution, there would be a clause in it banning trucks. Hurrumph! |

| When you get past 60 you can ride what the hell you like, but only after you have owned just about every other type of 2 wheeler. That usually excludes 'new money' people who just have to have a Harley ! |

| I'm with you Jeff - do you think it is a Triumph/Sprint thing? Shame on you though, check the Members Section to view the Constitution. |

Might as well let the cat out the bag.
DORIAN BURROWS, after a long period of non-Harley ownership, has again taken the plunge!
For those who may not know, he's not new to the world of Harley-Davidson having been a very active member of the HOG Hong Kong Chapter many years ago, whilst on employment there.
Ride safe and have fun!

Crikey Thunder in Yorkshire, even at that distance I guess the Cranfield seismograph will still register. The decibel meter too Lionel.
Enjoy Scotland Dorian |

| Looking forward to reading all about it in future Lineswapper editorials. Bound to be the best bike he's owned since...the Norge. Talking of which, does anyone know if this in addition to the 'Italian Stallion' or a direct replacement? |

Jusst herd that our dyslexic idiotor has brought a bike to match his skils:- no sped,no handlung,no breaks,no cumfort but plenty of vibbrations & visits to the wurkshope.
Seriously though, Sheena has already hitched the Scottish recovery trailer to the Vstrom! |

Direct replacement it was. Arrivederci Italia!

Vstrom?
Imagine that poor bike trying to haul 400kg of fully loaded pure Milwaukee iron over the Highlands. |
